OnDemand Server Description
UniServer allows to download the history data provided by eSignal directly into the GlobalServer. All you need to do is select the appropriate symbols in GlobalServer and historical data for those symbols will be downloaded directly to GlobalServer. You can fill the gaps with high-quality history data downloaded from eSignal servers.

Since UniServer is a subserver, it's interface is fully integrated and compatible with GlobalServer. eSignal uses two subservers simultaneously: UniServer subserver (SmartSubServer) and Online DBC SubServer. This allows to receive realtime data from eSignal to GlobalServer and download history data from eSignal server at once. The interface of UniServer is fully integrated and compatible with GlobalServer. This means working with this program will require no learning. All you need is to select in GlobalServer the symbol for which you want to download the history and the data will be in your GlobalServer.

UniServer is all you need for convenient and reliable data. eSignal is recognized as the highest quality data vendor in the US and now in Europe as well. Omega TradeStation 2000i is directly compatible with eSignal in REALTIME MODE, i.e it receives the realtime updates from eSignal and stores this data into the local database. The ages-old problem of TradeStation users is filling gaps by downloading historical data from eSignal to GlobalServer. UniServer solves this issue? Allowing to download the history data provided by eSignal directly into the GlobalServer. UniServer is a subserver and works simultaneously with the DBC online SubServer. So you have at the same time both a realtime data feed and historical data feed direct to GlobalServer. The interface of UniServer is fully integrated and compatible with GlobalServer. This means working with this program will require no learning. All you need is to select in GlobalServer the symbol for which you want to download the history and the data will be in your GlobalServer. To help you make the selection, UniServer has pre-defined patterns like ALL STOCKS, ALL FUTURES and others.

Features
Downloading the history data provided by eSignal directly into the GlobalServer
Uniserver allows to download the history data provided by eSignal directly into the GlobalServer. All you need to do is select the symbols in GlobalServer and the historical data will be downloaded directly to GlobalServer. You can fill the gaps with a high-quality history data downloaded from eSignal servers.

An interface integrated into GlobalServer
Since UniServer is a subserver, its interface is fully integrated and compatible with GlobalServer. This makes working with it convenient and speedy. Working with eSignal uses two subservers at once: the UniServer subserver (SmartSubServer) and the Online DBC SubServer. So realtime data to GlobalServer and historical data can be downloaded simultaneously.

Rapid GlobalServer data download
With common computer hardware and a fast Internet connection UniServer allows to download to GlobalServer up to 150 million quotes per hour. At average market activity this means in one hour you can download tick data for 3 days on 500 active symbols. In comparison, Dynaloader will take over 12 hours to download that much data.

Pre-defined patterns to simplify symbol selection for downloading
To help you make the selection, UniServer has the pre-defined patterns like ALL STOCKS, ALL FUTURES and others. You can select separate symbols from the Global Server portfolio. You can compile a download template once and use it every time later.

Automatic download protection against disconnection
The download continues automatically in case the connection has been lost. UniServer continues downloading data from the place where the connection broke.

All possible time frames supported
1 Tick (Trade, Bid and Ask records), 1 Minute (Trade, Bid and Ask records), 5 Minutes (Trade, Bid and Ask records), 1 Day (Trade, Bid and Ask records)

All accessible fields supported
Price fields, Volume, Open interest

In the future versions:

Automatic search and filling of gaps
On launch UniServer automatically scans your data for gaps and patches them automatically whenever need arises.

A script language with incoming data filtering capabilities
A simple script language enabling to set rules for incoming data processing is a major feature of UniServer. For instance, you can set your filter to skip bad ticks. The flexibility of the language enables the use of any logic or arithmetic operations in data processing.

Downloading from a text file directly directly into GlobalServer
An additional feature is the possibility of downloading data to GlobalServer from ASCII files. Now you have no more problems importing text data to GlobalServer. UniServer solves the task.
